Marnie Schulenburg, who performed Alison Stewart on the CBS daytime cleaning soap As the World Turns, died following a battle with stage 4 metastatic breast most cancers. She was 37.

The actress, who can also be identified for her flip as Jo Sullivan on One Life to Dwell, died Tuesday at a hospital in Bloomfield, New Jersey, in response to The Hollywood Reporter. Schulenburg is survived by her husband, Succession actor Zack Robidas, and their 2-year-old daughter, Coda. Schulenburg and Robidas had been married in 2013.

Born in Cape Cod, Massachusetts, Schulenburg made her cleaning soap opera debut as Alison Stewart on CBS’ The Younger and the Stressed in 2007. She then reprised the position on Because the World Turns till the community cancelled the collection in 2010. The portrayal earned Schulenburg a Daytime Emmy nod that very same yr. She joined One Life to Dwell as Jo Sullivan in 2013, when the cleaning soap moved to Hulu.

A former gymnast, Schulenburg appeared in performs for the Pennsylvania Shakespeare Pageant and New York’s Dramatists Guild of America earlier than setting her sights on the small display.
