ABC Fall Schedule: Abbott Elementary, Huge Sky on Transfer, DWTS' Substitute Revealed, Hilary Swank Follows Gray's

ABC is the most recent broadcast community to unveil it’s 2022 Fall TV schedule (following NBC), and there’s much less comedy, extra Bachelor in Paradise and a brand new primetime Jeopardy sequence. Additionally: A number of sequence are transferring to new nights (together with one freshman hit).

♦ ABC is downsizing its comedy presence from two nights (Tuesday and Wednesday) to only one (Wednesday). As a part of that consolidation, red-hot Abbott Elementary is transferring from its previous Tuesday perch into Wednesday’s 9 pm anchor place. The Conners, which beforehand had the Wednesday-9 spot, will now kick off the night time at 8 pm, the place it’s going to lead into The Goldbergs.

♦ Summertime staple Bachelor in Paradise is getting a daily season improve, airing each on Mondays from 8-10 pm (changing DWTS) and Tuesdays from 8-10 pm.

♦ A Million Little Things, which is probably going heading into its last season, is being held till midseason. Additionally warming the bench till ’23: Sophomore comedy The Surprise Years and the brand new Gina Rodriguez comedy Not Lifeless But.

♦ The brand new Hilary Swank drama Alaska has scored the plum Thursdays-at-10 perch following Gray’s Anatomy, bumping former occupant Huge Sky to Wednesdays-at-10. In the meantime, The Niecy Nash-Betts-led Rookie spinoff will air Tuesdays-at-10.

♦ A brand new weekly celeb version of Jeopardy! (more details here) shall be paired with Celeb Wheel of Fortune on Sunday night time.
